We didn't have much time in Damascus (only one night), but I did want to post a few pics for you to see what it looked like. It's not quite as dusty as Cairo but things are still rather old & outdated by US standards.
About Me
- The Aviator
- After many years in aviation as a corporate pilot, the Good Lord has guided me on a career path I never saw myself taking. As it was so elegantly put in the movie Top Gun, I now literally find myself "flying a cargo plane full of rubber dog #$@! out of Hong Kong"! Ah, but this is not just any cargo plane...it is currently one of the largest, longest range, most technologically advanced cargo planes in the world...the Boeing 777F!

One Night in Damascus, Syria
I know it's not much to see from 30,000 feet, but this is Jerusalem about 30 miles of to our west as we descended into Damascus.

We didn't have much time in Damascus (only one night), but I did want to post a few pics for you to see what it looked like. It's not quite as dusty as Cairo but things are still rather old & outdated by US standards.
